Fruba Characters Personal Clothes

• Honda Tohru
  
  Has little connection with personal adornment and above all tends to have a penchant for, and chooses, clothes which are good and durable and so is quite plain. To put it bluntly, she's a bit poorly dressed. But recently, she's gained a bit of leeway with the pocket book and has started buying some cuter clothing compared to before. There are times when she wears young, girlish clothes like in Ch 25 but that was a present from Shigure. He's given her a fair amount of presents. (it's easy to understand Shigure's feelings......).
  
  She received the maid's outfit from Ch 18 but just in case, was stopped by Yuki and Kyo and so it remains hidden in Tohru's dresser.

  "Since I'm an author, it's got to be kimono right?" and for that sort of reason, he randomly wears in a messy fashion a kimono.
  
  Before becoming an author, (ie when he was living at the main house), it feels like he wore whatever jeans and shirts he had and wore fairly rough clothing. That randomness is but one aspect of his pose. He doesn't seem to have a policy per se and seems to be more "putting on a display".

  For her personal wardrobe, she only wears black. If you open her wardrobe, it's pure black ...that's the best part isn't it.
  
  Normally, she paints her nails black but, that's from when she was a Junior High Student.
  
  She's especially fond of chic and elegant black dresses and the black cloak that both she and her younger brother Megumi have (which happens to be hand made by her grandmother).
